Martin Hinoul Belgium

Dr. Hinoul was the Technology and Science Attaché at the Embassy of Belgium in Washington, D.C., after having served in the same position at the Belgian Consulate in Los Angeles.

He served as a Chief of Staff for the Flemish Minister for Economy and after that, he joined KU Leuven R&D as Business Development Manager for the Knowledge Economy Region Leuven and became at that time also an independent consultant. Dr. Hinoul is and was boardmember of a series of companies, organizations and venture capital firms.

Dr. Hinoul wrote hundreds of articles and books and gave hundreds of lectures all over the world.

Dr. Hinoul holds a Ph.D. degree in Physics and a postgraduate degree in Business Administration from the Catholic University of Leuven (KU Leuven), a degree of Doctor of Technology in Engineering (Honoris Causa) at the Durban University of Technology in South Africa. He has also done postdoctoral research at the Stanford University, M.I.T., and several other laboratories in Europe, the U.S., and Japan.
