He worked as an assistant to a Chairman of the Board at ŠKODA AUTO. Between 1998 and 2008, he served as a Chairman of the Department for Production Cost Optimization and was responsible for reducing production costs for all ŠKODA model lines. He was appointed chairman of the ŠKODA investment committee. He was responsible for implementing a project related to changing the corporate culture at ŠKODA AUTO.

At the beginning of 2009, he took over the responsibility for ŠKODA projects in China, Russia, India and other regions. Following a very fast expansion of ŠKODA production abroad, he has been working, since 2011, as a regional director responsible for brand projects in Russia and the CIS countries, and for the development of production projects in new regions.
