Since May 2013, Alex Lissitsa is the CEO of the IMC, one of TOP-10 agricultural companies in Ukraine, where he leads and oversees the implementation of the company’s short-term and long-term plans in accordance with the IMC’s business strategy. The IMC is an integrated agricultural business based in northern and central Ukraine (Chernihiv, Poltava and Sumy regions) with a land bank under cultivation of 136.6 thousands ha, and listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange since 2011.

Under the leadership of Alex Lissitsa, the IMC has become one of the most efficient agricultural companies in Ukraine and has established close and long-term cooperation with the International Finance Corporation (IFC) and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).

Alex Lissitsa was an ideologist for the creation of a new model of agrarian association in 2007 - the Ukrainian Agribusiness Club (UCAB), where he still holds the position of President. Since its inception, the UCAB has become the most powerful agricultural association in Ukraine.

Mr. Lissitsa has diploma in “Economics of the Enterprises” of the National Agricultural University of Ukraine (Kyiv). He also earned PhD degree in Agriculture at Humboldt University (Berlin, Germany). He has more than 50 publications in the media.
