Denis Tafintsev is a Senior Partner and a member of the Investment Committee at Horizon Capital. Prior to joining Horizon Capital in 2010, he worked for McKinsey & Company doing projects for financial institutions and industrial holdings in different geographies with key focus on sales and marketing, strategy, HR management, production efficiency, and key business process optimization.

Mr. Tafintsev holds an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business, a M.S. degree from Humboldt University of Berlin, and B.A. and M.A. degrees from the Higher School of Economics.
