From 2017 to 2019, he served as Deputy Minister of Information Policy of Ukraine, where he focused on countering informational threats and hybrid challenges, oversaw the development of a strategic communications system, and implemented provisions of Ukraine's Information Security Doctrine.

Currently, his work is directed at safeguarding national information security and countering hostile propaganda, particularly in the context of the war with the russian federation.

Dmytro Zolotukhin is involved in analytical work in the fields of media and information technology and actively collaborates with Ukrainian and international organizations to raise awareness about the risks of informational attacks.

He frequently teaches and conducts training sessions, sharing expertise in strategic communications and countering disinformation. His publications and research serve as significant sources of information on information warfare and the influence of propaganda on modern society.
