Erik Reinert is a notable Norwegian economist and economic history researcher, Professor of Technology Governance and Development Strategies at Tallinn University of Technology.

He has a top-tier education and holds an MBA from Harvard and a Ph.D. in economics from Cornell University. Dr. Reinert has gained extensive experience from running his own industrial company and working as a researcher and economic researcher and expert in more than 50 countries worldwide.

Erik Reinert is an author of the bestselling book “How Rich Countries Got Rich…and Why Poor Countries Stay Poor”, which, according to the World Economic Association ranking, is among top 50 most important economic books for the last 100 years and which was translated into 20+ languages.

Dr. Reinert’s library comprises around 40,000 books thoroughly covering economic history and politics for the last 500 years.
