Active defender of environmental safety in Ukraine.

Member of the Board of Trustees at the Okhmatdyt National Children’s Hospital.

Hanna Hopko was honored with the NDI Democracy Award for her efforts to further the cause of democracy in Ukraine.

2014 she was recognized as the world’s prominent thought leaders in Foreign Policy magazine’s annual issue, "100 Leading Global Thinkers".

Alma mater – Ivan Franko National University of Lviv. PhD in Social Communications.
