In 1997 he graduated from Kyiv Taras Shevchenko National University. He received Ph.D in economics in 2000.

From 1997 to 2004 independent businessman, management consultant and lector of Macroeconomics in Kyiv Taras Shevchenko National University. In 2001 and 2005 served as a part-time Advisory of Prime Ministers of Ukraine.

Since 2008 he is founding partner (co-partner) of Hydroenergoinvest-Aquanova Energy Holding that now operates solar and 29 small hydropower stations across Ukraine with total installed capacity of 30 MW, 7 more small hydro power stations are under development/construction.

He serves as a Member of Supervisory Board of JSC Kyivspectrans (leading solid waste operator in Kiev) and also owns Corporation Ukrvtorresursy (provider of solid waste services in Kyiv and Chernivsi).
