Marcin Nowacki is a seasoned professional with a strong background in investment, entrepreneurship, and international relations. He has held leadership positions at prominent organizations such as the Łódź Special Economic Zone and the Marshal’s Office in Łódź.
He is actively involved in the Union of Entrepreneurs and Employers (ZPP), a major employers’ organization in Poland. As part of ZPP, he oversees corporate relations, foreign partnerships, and the ZPP Representation in Brussels. He is also the founder and head of the European Enterprise Alliance, an organization representing entrepreneurs from Central and Eastern Europe.
With a degree in international relations and experience in various countries, Nowacki has a deep understanding of global economic and political issues. He has served on the Social Dialogue Council and the European Economic and Social Committee, and was recently awarded the Steven M. Sass Economic Freedom Award by the Heritage Foundation. In April 2023, Nowacki assumed the role of Chairman of the EU-Ukraine Civil Society Platform in Brussels, further demonstrating his commitment to fostering international cooperation and promoting entrepreneurship.

This panel discussion will focus on how industry and the Government respond to the challenges of war, and how they can build a sustainable economy. Participants will discuss the first outcomes of the Made in Ukraine policy, its impact on industry, and what needs to be improved to increase efficiency.
Also, strategies for preserving the industrial potential, attracting investments and cooperation with international partners to support Ukrainian industry will be considered.
