Dr. Mazen Zein is currently the Vice President of the Medium Voltage Power Equipment global activity in Schneider Electric. Mazen joined Schneider Electric in 2014 as the Director of Business Development, Strategy and Smart Cities Segment for Schneider Electric in the Gulf countries. He took the role of General Manager Qatar & Bahrain for Schneider during 4 years after that, overseeing operations for all businesses and segments in the two countries. 

Before joining Schneider Electric, Mazen built an experience of 10+ years of global business development, general management, and R&D in the energy, and auto industries in Europe & the Middle East.  

Mazen is passionate about Clean Energy, Smart Cities and Industry 4.0. He’s an active member in networks and councils related to these topics in the MENA region and a regular speaker at the same. 

Mazen holds a PhD degree in Robotics/Engineering from Ecole Centrale de Nantes – France, and an MBA from IMD business school – Switzerland.
