Mykola Kovalski joined Astarta-Kyiv in 2008, prior to which he worked on large-scale energy projects and Ukraine - EU economic relations.

He graduated with honors with a physics degree from Kyiv State Shevchenko University in 1989 and graduated from the Ukrainian Academy of Foreign Trade with a degree in international management in 1999. In 2010, he graduated from International Management Institute with diploma in finance and accounting.
