Was appointed as a Minister of Justice of Ukraine on February 27 2014.

Since December 2012 to March 2014 Pavlo was a People’s Deputy of Ukraine of theVII-th convocation from the political party All-Ukrainian Union“Batkivschina”, Secretary of the Committee of theVerkhovna Rada of Ukraine on the rule of law and justice. Since November 2010 to December 2012 was a member of the Kyiv Regional Council, member of the Standing Committee on law, legal order and fighting against corruption.

From 2006 to 2010 he had a private law practice. From December 2001 to December 2005 worked as Chief Lawyer of the OJSC “State Savings Bank of Ukraine”, then on senior positions in the Directorate for legal support of the OJSC “State Savings Bank of Ukraine”. From January 2001 to December 2001 he worked on the position of lawyer in the private law firm.

Received the Degree of the Candidate of Legal Sciences in 2014. In 2004 graduated from the Ukrainian Academy of Foreign Trade under the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine (speciality “Management of International Economic Activity”). In 2001 graduated from the Chernivtsi National University named after Yuriy Fedkovych (with honors, speciality “Jurisprudence”, Master’s degree in Law).
