Peter Pomerantsev is a British academic and writer with Ukrainian roots, Senior Fellow at Johns Hopkins University, and one of the best researchers of media and propaganda in modern Russia. He is the author of two books about information in propaganda, "Nothing is True and Everything is Possible" and "This is Not Propaganda".

Information warfare and propaganda play a key role in shaping public opinion, states' international image, and maintaining public morale. Ukraine, which is facing an unprecedented wave of disinformation and propaganda, has to find effective strategies to protect its information space.
In this panel discussion, we will focus on how to counter disinformation and propaganda in times of war. Participants will share their experience on the information front, talk about the challenges they face and the methods and technologies they use to protect the truth. Particular attention will be paid to information security, psychological resilience of society and the role of the media in countering manipulation.
