Sergey has been working at Interpipe since 2001. He started as an economist of the industrial assets department, worked as CFO at Interpipe NTRP, and CFO’s deputy at Interpipe.
He holds an MBA degree from the Manchester Business School. Before that he received master's degree in “Economics” from the National Metallurgical Academy of Ukraine.
Since 2021, Sergiy Kuzmenko has been successfully managing Interpipe’s finances. As of today, the Group is in a stable financial position. The Company is a leading Ukrainian exporter of value-added products. Export share in Interpipe’s sales was 75 percent in 2023. The Company's products are supplied to more than 50 countries worldwide through the network of sales offices located in the key markets of Europe, North America (USA) and the Middle East.
Interpipe is a leader in the European Union in decarbonization of industrial production. The Company's CO2 emissions are among the best (i.e. minimal) in the industry. Interpipe has already met European Green Deal goals for 2030 reducing CO2 emissions by 72%. These results were achieved due to the construction and launch of the innovative electric arc steelmaking complex Interpipe Steel replacing dirty open-hearth production. Nevertheless, the Company continues to reduce further its carbon footprint.
