Mykhailo was the Head of the Department for Strategic Planning and European Integration of the Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry, headed the group developing the restructuring model for NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine. While working at the Government in 2013-2014 as Advisor to the Vice Prime Minister, Mykhailo Bno-Airiian was responsible for the healthcare sector. His active position contributed to the implementation of European standards for drugs GMP when manufactured or imported to Ukraine. As Advisor to the Foreign Minister in 2010-2013, he was responsible for the economization of foreign policy. For the first time in the history of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, he initiated the establishment and worked as the executive secretary of the Council of Exporters under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Has a degree in international economics from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv and МВА in oil and gas business from Moscow Institute of International Relations.
