Rostyslav began his career in 2003 in international companies Procter & Gamble and BOSTON CONSULTING GROUP LIMITED. Since 2006 he worked at METINVEST Group. Since 2007, he has held the position of Chief Financial Officer at CJSC “Makiivka metallurgical plant”. He was a member of the supervisory board of Iron and Steel Works of Mariupol, head of the supervisory board of the Bulgarian plant “Promet”, member of the board of directors of “Metinvest-Trametal” (Italy). From 2012 to 2019 worked as General Executive Officer of PJSC “Iron and Steel Works “Zaporizhstal”. 

Since March 2021 he worked as an Advisor to the Office of the President of Ukraine (out of staff). By the Decree of the President of Ukraine on November 23, 2021 Rostyslav was appointed Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine.
